Description of Practice:
I received my Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2011. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples work through negative thoughts and emotions, which often leave them feeling stuck. I believe that all truth is God’s truth and therefore take an integrated approach to counseling which blends the best of psychology with the best of spirituality. With the many adjustments of life, we can often feel vulnerable, confused, sad and stressed. It is my goal to help each client move into a fruitful place where peace, joy and rest can blossom. I offer a warm, nurturing and therapeutic environment where each client can feel safe and empowered. Life brings many demands and we often feel like we are pouring out our lives meeting the needs of other. This is a space where you can come just as you are and receive. You can receive comfort, truth, love and peace. You can experience the transformation that you seek. I use a holistic approach to therapy that focuses not only on body, mind and spirit health but also on developing and maintaining healthy relationships. I work with a variety of concerns including: anxiety, depression, trauma, marital issues, body image issues and self-esteem issues.
